By accessing or using the website Refresh Rate Tester (refreshrate.net), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Permitted Use & Service Nature
Refresh Rate Tester provides free, browser-based diagnostic utilities to test monitor refresh rates, frame pacing cadence, and motion persistence. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the service for personal evaluation, display calibration, hardware benchmarking, and commercial troubleshooting.
3. Disclaimer of Hardware Liability
Our utilities display telemetry derived from your operating system and web browser environment. If you use information from this site to overclock your monitor, adjust pixel clock timings (via utilities such as CRU), alter GPU BIOS settings, or modify display driver configurations, you do so entirely at your own risk.
Important Notice: In no event shall Refresh Rate Tester, its contributors, or developers be liable for any hardware damage, display panel degradation, cable failure, data loss, or system instability resulting from adjustments made to your display hardware.
4. Accuracy of Measurements
While our engine uses microsecond-resolution hardware timestamps, browser-based benchmarking can be influenced by external factors, including operating system power-saving modes, multi-monitor VSYNC synchronization anomalies, background GPU tasks, and browser hardware acceleration settings. All measurements are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
5. Intellectual Property
The custom design system, proprietary frame pacing algorithms, logos, illustrations, and documentation on refreshrate.net are the intellectual property of Refresh Rate Tester and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.
